New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers to Face Off in Eastern Conference Semifinals
The New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers will meet in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, reviving a classic rivalry from the 1990s. The last Game 7 at Madison Square Garden was in 1995, when the Knicks defeated the Pacers. The two teams also met in Game 7 of the 1994 playoffs, with the Pacers winning on their home court.
The Knicks advanced to the second round by defeating the Miami Heat in four games. The Pacers, meanwhile, upset the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in seven games. The two teams split the first two games of the series in Indianapolis, with the Knicks winning Game 1 and the Pacers winning Game 2.
Game 7 is scheduled to be played at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, May 15. The winner will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals to face the Boston Celtics.
